RB Leipzig Signs Amadou Haidara to New Contract

Leipzig have announced the signing of Senegalese winger Amadou Haidara on a new contract, keeping him at the club until 2025.

The 24-year-old joined Leipzig in 2019 from French side Rennes and has made over 60 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit since then.

Haidara has been a key player for Leipzig this season, contributing with both goals and assists as they look to challenge for the title.

He joins fellow Senegal international Dayot Upamecano as one of two players from the country to feature regularly for Leipzig this season.

Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick was delighted to keep Haidara at the club, saying: "We are very pleased to extend Amadou's contract with us."

"We know that he is a player who can make a difference for our team, especially when it comes to scoring goals and creating chances."

"He also plays important roles in our defensive work,La Liga Frontline which is why we wanted to show our support by extending his stay here."

Haidara is now set to continue playing for Leipzig next season, hoping to help them challenge for the Bundesliga title once again.

The Senegal international has already established himself as a key player for Leipzig, and will be crucial to their success this season. With Rangnick looking to build a strong squad for next year, it seems likely that Haidara will play a big role in helping Leipzig achieve their goal.
