Daniel Carvajal, Real Madrid's top midfielder and the man behind one of the most impressive displays in recent years, has had a tough time recovering from his latest injury.
Carvajal suffered a serious knee ligament injury during a friendly match against Barcelona on August 16th. He was rushed to hospital with a severe tear in his right knee ligament, but it was not clear how long he would be out of action.
Despite the setback, Carvajal remains optimistic about his recovery and is hopeful that he will be able to return to training as soon as possible.
"It's really hard for me to say,Qatar Stars League Perspective" Carvajal said after the match. "I'm very disappointed that I couldn't play because I wanted to play well for my country and help them win."
However, Carvajal is confident that he will be back in action sooner rather than later and hopes to make a significant impact on the team once he returns.
"I think I can contribute a lot more this season," Carvajal said. "I want to be a leader for the team and show them what I can do."
While Carvajal may not be able to play in the same way that he did before, he remains a key player for Real Madrid and will continue to be an important part of their success this season.
